On Friday 25 October 2024, we will delve into the theme of Change—a constant presence in our schools. In our roles, we are not only participants in change; we may also lead change. As we look ahead, one significant change on the horizon is Program Kaartdijin, one of the most transformative shifts schools will undergo since the introduction of student-centred funding and the Independent Public School models. This software change will impact most school business professionals, directly and indirectly.
Our goal for the day is to equip us with practical tools and innovative ideas to help navigate successful change at the school level. We’ll explore strategies for managing change while prioritising our wellbeing. This includes considering current versus future workflows and rethinking task allocations and manual processes that may need to be reworked or eliminated. We’ll also learn how these changes may affect us emotionally and physiologically and how to minimise any adverse effects.
